So this is the day we left for our honeymoon. We got up at 9 am, too early when your feeling a little "heavy in the head" from the night before if you ask me! We left for SLC by 10:30, when we got to the airport we boarded our plane right on time and things weren't looking too bad! However, apparently they were having problems with the left engine and they couldn't get it to start!!??! So the captain got over the PA and said that the mechanic was looking at it and it would only be 15 to 20 minutes...yeah, right! We sat on that plane for an hour and a half before they fixed the problem with the engine. (And they expected us to fly on this plane with engine problems??!?!?) Well, because of that delay, we thought we were going to miss our connecting flight in Cincinnati, but it turns out that they held that flight (lucky us!) and finally we were off to Jacksonville, FL. We arrived there at 11 pm and by the time we checked into our hotel it was 12:30 am. What a long day of flying!
