Still trying to decorate my house.

So I talked Daniel into going shopping with me to see if we could find a picture to hang over the hallway table that we got for Christmas. I've been keeping my eye out for one, but I haven't found one that I just had to have. Until I saw this beauty!

I figured I might as well take advantage of the fact that Daniel was actually shopping with me and we went to see if we could find a frame for the picture he brought home from Guadalajara, Mexico (from his study abroad program). We ended up finding one that we both really liked, and bonus...it was 50% off!!!

Now our house is finally starting to come together...it's only taken me 8 months! (and I'm still not even close to being done) It's just hard to put money into decorating when I don't know if this is where we will be after he graduates or if we will have to move. I guess only time will tell!

I'm hooked!

Introducing baby Spillman!
Okay, so this is so addicting! Thank you Trish for showing me this completely awesome site! I just hope that we have better luck with our "real" children when we decide to have them, and they turn out a little cuter!!!

Honest Scrap

It is called the honest scrap award and these are the rules...A) First list 10 honest things about yourself--and make it interesting even if you have to dig deep.B) Pass the award on to 7 bloggers that you feel embody the spirit of Honest Scrap...

I figured it's about time that I do this considering I've been tagged more then once...so here goes...

1. I have a half brother...that I met when I was 18 and a half sister that I met when I was 23. Pretty sure that is all of them...?

2. I used to be able to sleep whenever, where ever. I could get off work at 3, go home and nap till 7, get up do what I needed, then be in bed and asleep at 11. My friends knew that if they were calling me there was a 75% chance that they were going to wake me up. Now, I'm lucky to get 5 hours a night.

3. I can't make it through my day with out my morning coffee. It's probably a good idea not to talk to me until I have at least 1 cup in me.

4. Daniel and I beat the odds...we met at a bar and still got married!

5. This is probably the most embarrassing...my house was once raided by the police. My ex was into meth and I had no idea -- yeah, I was that naive.

6. As I get older it seems that my anxiety is getting worse. Maybe that's why I'm loosing so much sleep???!?!

7. My husband will graduate after this summer, and that scares the crap out of me (don't get me wrong...I am SOOO proud of him) because it's likely that with his degree we will have to relocate in order for him to find a job. I've been in cache valley my entire life, my friends and family are here...it's gonna be hard to leave.

8. I recently started taking piano lessons. It's like learning a new language. It's hard and challenging, yet I love it!

9. My in-laws are completely amazed at the movies that I have NOT seen. (i.e. Karate Kid, Back to the Future, Teen Wolf ect.) I'm surprised they allowed me into their family! :)

10. I'm a people pleaser. I love making people happy. I think it's a curse.

As far as tagging 7 people, I don't think there are 7 different people that read my blog, and the 2 people that I know I could tag already beat me to it. So if you want to do this then I tag you!
