Where to begin? How about a VACATION?!

It's been a long time. Too long. I've been sitting here for the last hour trying to figure out where to begin. And I can't! So instead of wasting more time trying to figure it out and eventually getting to the point where I don't blog anything, I'm just going to focus on the big events.

Lets start with our vacation to Florida. We took Oscar to meet his Great Mimi. They bonded instantly he didn't need any time to warm up to her!
Then it was off to the beach for Oscar's first time. (This entire trip was full of "firsts" for our baby boy!)
I couldn't believe how many strangers came up to Oscar and just loved him. He ate up all the attention too, he just loves it. He would smile and pour on the charm for anyone that would look at him. And we figured out that when he started to get fussy, all we needed to do was have Mimi pull out her camera and this would happen...

We went to Lake Alice to see if we could see an alligator this time. (We didn't get to see one on our honeymoon.) Sure enough there was not only one but two!

And Oscar slept the entire time we were looking at the gators.

We stayed with Mimi for a few days, then Daniels parents met up with us there. They stayed for a night and off to Siesta Key. We could not have planned the timing of the weather any better. The day we drove in the car all day was the day it rained like crazy. The rest of the vacations was beautiful!

Oscar really loved the ocean. He would swing his arms around like crazy just splashing away! The water was really warm and the beach was beautiful.
I told Daniel that I wanted to go parasailing...so we did. It was TONS of fun, and something I wouldn't normally do. I wanted there to be a "first" for me too!

We had an amazing time and Oscar was such a little trooper. He is such a happy lil fella! He traveled like a champ, that is until the plane ride home. About 10 minutes before we landed in SLC he puked about 7 gallons of vomit...all over me. Daniel and I tried to clean it up and sop up as much as we could with Oscar's blanket but it just wasn't big enough. Luckily we had wipes and cleaned it up but I was completely mortified. Everyone on the plane was so comforting and sweet to us about it though. At least he did it 10 minutes before we landed and not 10 minuted after we took off!
