Brandy's baby shower

About a month ago Trish and I planned a baby shower for Brandy. I'll start by showing you the invitation. We found the design on etsy.com from westwillow.etsy.com. She was awesome to work with and designed exactly what we had in mind. (just ignore the blank spots - I took out the personal info)

We decided to do more of an open house but we still wanted games, food and fun for everyone. So our menu was chicken salad croissants, italian pasta salad, chips, grapes, a fabulous drink (consisting of white grape juice and sprite) and of course "poop diaper" cookies. (see here for pic of cookies)

For games we had a table set up with all sorts of decorations. We did an attributes game where everyone had to guess who Brandy hoped baby Anders will take after, whoever guessed closest to Brandy's answers got a prize! We also had a guess how many buttons are in the baby bottle, and whoever was closest also won a prize. Then we just had an advice journal for Brandy that everyone wrote in. As for the decorations, the planet mobile was a gift from Trish to Brandy for her bday. I made the rocket ships and play cubes and Trish made the quilt.

Then we set up a table for everyone to decorate a onesie for baby Anders. This turned out to be so much fun and it proved to be worth the time of putting it all together!

I want to add that I think this little boy is by far the most spoiled baby ever! (and he's not even here yet!)

And that's just the beginning of the gifts...

I just thought I would pat myself (and Trish) on the back for the great job we did in planning this! Brandy, we love you and can't wait to meet Anders. You deserved every bit of this shower and more! I wish the best for you, Cam and Anders!

I love those rockets! And the onesies you painted. Did you just use fabric paints or did you have them silk-screened?
Congrats on the baby, Brandy! When is the due date?
