Daniel and Sarah Spillman: Namesake...

Just thought that I owed him at the very least this...Ricardo Montalban passed today and without him my puppy would not have a name!

SARAHISMS

I can never seem to get sayings right...I tend to mess them up one way or another! So I just thought I would share a few with you...I hope you all laugh at them as me and my friends do!!!

"Stick in the grass" (not snake in the grass or stick in the mud)

"Wild goose egg hunt" (I told a customer over the phone that I needed more details because I didn't want to send our men on a wild goose egg hunt!)

"Knock the stone off the list" (Not sure what I was going for with this one!..maybe knocking out 2 birds with one stone!?)

"Ha, I just threw you under the table!" (I was trying to tell Trish that I just thew her under the bus!!)

"You need to take a card from my book." (I was going for "take a page from my book")

NOW FOR MY VERY FAVORITE......
"SHIT IS GONNA HIT THE FLOOR!" (I told this to Daniel, and he just smirked and said to me "Well, at least it will be easy to clean up!")

"You mis-screwed that" (I was going for misconstrued)

We need to write a "letiditor" (I was trying to say 'letter to the editor')

I was reading the words "bad attitude" and it came out as "BADITUDE"

"That was in radio!" (Going for stereo -- me and Trish said something at the same time!)

I was talking to Daniel and tried to say maybe and probably and it came out "maybably"

"Oww, freezer burn!" I said this while drinking a smoothie at my mom's and I got brain freeze.

So I recently updated my status on Facebook, the day before we hiked the Wellsvilles. I put "I'm going to concur the Wellsvilles tomorrow!" -- the comments from my friends were hillarious!! At least I can laugh at myself...I left it as my status for awhile. After we finished the hike, I updated my status as to read "Well the Wellsvilles did not concur with me, but I did conquer them!!"
