Just to give you a little idea of what our day was like...

We couldn't have asked for better weather. The wind died down and the morning was calm just as I was about the walk down the isle to marry the man of my dreams! It seems like everything just sort-of fell into place...we couldn't have planned our wedding to be more perfect. And I know that our life together will be just as beautiful as the day was!

Joel sang and played the guitar as I walked down the isle. The song we picked was "First Day of My Life", I am so thankful to Joel for doing this for us...it was incredible!
The "exchange"!!!

The ceremony and vows.

The kiss...

Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. Daniel V. Spillman!

After the ceremony everyone came up to congratulate us and there were hugs, hugs all around! I don't think I can remember a day when there were so many hugs. Not just people hugging me or Daniel, but each other too! TENDER! Anyhow, I won't bore you to death with all the pics of people hugging us (there is a ton...and I don't think I could name everyone in the pics either!)

After all the huggin' we took some pics of us with our families...here's just a few!
This is me with my brothers...unfortunately Jeff and Amy couldn't make it out here for our wedding...just know that you two were missed that day! (And for those of you who don't know, Josh - on the left - is my half brother from my "real" dad and we just reunited about 8 years ago!)

Daniel with his brothers...I have never met 5 siblings that look soooo different! and that have such different personalities. I am so lucky to get to be a part of such a great family and one that welcomed me with open arms!!!

These are my parents, Susan and Ted.

This is Daniels parents, Richard and Jane.

After the wedding, we had a luncheon at the Coppermill restaurant which was a lot of fun...Daniel and I both changed...I just knew that if I went to eat lunch in my WHITE dress, I would spill all over it!
After the lunch we had about a 3 hour break. We went home and relaxed then they real party began! We went up to the Logan Country Club and had good food and good drinks all night long!!!

This is us with Cam and Brandy... Brandy was the FIRST person to make me cry that day...but they were defiantly tears of joy! (Oh, and she was/is prego here and I had no idea!!! YEAH!)

This is Levi and Trish...if it weren't for Trish, I don't think the day would have been as awesome as it was! I owe a ton of thanks to her!!! *she did my hair and make-up*

These guys are Ryan and Stacy. Daniel and Ryan have been friends for years and years and years!

And this is us with Ryan and Tana. Ryan's dad is the bishop that married us.

So there is a look into what my wedding day was like. I want to thank Sheena (Instinct Photography) for all the wonderful pictures...without you I wouldn't have a clue of how the day turned out!!! We love you!

Getting closer

WOW! I can't believe how fast time flies! It seems like just yesterday Daniel and I were just "talking" about getting married, and now it's here! Everyone keeps asking me (and Daniel) if we're nervous...I don't think it's nerves...I think we are both just really anxious to get married. I can't wait to be his wife! And he is just as excited. He keeps sending me cute texts about becoming the "future Mrs. Spillman" and today he said to me over the phone, "lets get married this Saturday!" I know that we are both soooo happy, this couldn't happen at a better time!

He had his bachelor party on Wednesday...they all (Daniel and all his friends) went to Wendover, NV. I don't know any details about what he did while he was there...all I do know is how sleepy he is today!!!

Just to let you all know how dedicated he is...he played in an indoor soccer game tonight. He wasn't about to let his team down! So I went to his game and with about 10 minutes left, his team calls a time-out and I see the goalie and Daniel switching places and all I could think was "OH GREAT...watch. The ball is gonna come flying at his face and he's gonna miss it and get a black eye for our wedding!" Luckily that didn't happen!

Well tomorrow I'm going to start packing for our honeymoon...we're going to Florida for a few days so Daniel can meet the rest of my family (Hi Mimi!) then we are off to Puerto Rico! I'm going to be gone for a little over a week so I'm not going to do any posts for a while and we'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow night (there's a good chance that I won't be able to sleep from all the excitement) maybe you'll hear from me then??!!?

BLAH (that's how we feel)

So I have decided that it is never a good idea to go to bed at 2am when you have to be up and into work the next day by 8am! Daniel and I stayed up ALL night unpacking and trying to get the house together so that when we get back from our honeymoon we won't have to worry about a thing...doesn't look like that plan is going to work!

Stuck in Alaska

So Daniel came home from Alaska yesterday. I went and picked him up from the airport, his flight got in at about 4 pm. He went with his dad, brothers, uncles and cousins to golf and visit family. Sounds like he had a blast and it is a very beautiful place (sorry, I don't have pics to post because Daniel forgot to pack the camera??!!!?).

Daniel decided the day before they left that he was going to try to get an earlier flight back because he had been away for soooo many days. (He went to Delaware for a friends wedding on July 29, got home from that on Aug. 4 then left for Alaska on Aug. 7 and got home on Aug. 10) If he didn't take the earlier flight home, he would have got back to Utah on Aug. 11 way early in the morning.

I just have to tell everyone how ECSTATIC I am that he did take the early flight. Last night at about 9 pm he got a phone call from his brother Joel who told him that the flight had been canceled because a VOLCANO ERUPTED! Can you believe that? They won't be back until Thursday (at the latest). So that would mean that if Daniel DIDN'T take the early flight back, he would be STUCK IN ALASKA! Can you imagine how big of a MESS I would be if Daniel didn't come home?!!? That is a SCARY thought (especially if you know me!)

Have no fear...we are here!

So I figured I would start a blog...I have had the hardest time trying to figure this out! But I think I'm finally starting to get it! (Thanks Brandy and Trish!)

So Daniel FINALLY popped the question and we will be married on Aug. 16 2008. It's coming up really soon...snuck up on me to tell you the truth. I realized that I was just sitting around "hoping" that everything would fall into my lap and I wouldn't have to actually do any planning...boy was I WRONG! But everything is good now and all I have to worry about is Daniel saying the "I do"!!!

Just to catch everyone up on what I have been doing...

On July 12th 2008, my girlfriends had a bridal shower for me. Lots and lots of laughs and tons of fun! Thanks for everything!

Then on July 26 2008, Daniel's mom, Jane and his sister Becky had a bridal shower for me. It was so much fun being around his family and getting to know everyone! Thanks Ladys!
