She's Crafty

So we (being me and Trish) threw a baby shower for Brandy back on March 28. It was a ton of fun to plan and we had a lot of fun activities at the shower. (more on that in a later post...) As for now, I wanted to share with you the onesies that I painted and created!
I have to say that I am very proud of my creations! I made/drew the stencils for all but the "Oh Spit" one. Loads of fun and in my opinion, it's the best baby shower activity EVER! Click here to see Trish's creations.

Getting older. ugh.

Yup. That's right, I just got older. My birthday was on Tues. It was an awesome day. My mom took me and Daniel out to lunch. Then Daniel went to get a new car for us...yes we finally got rid of that P.O.S. Jag. (I think we paid more in repairs on that thing than we did to buy it) YA-HOO!!!

Ta-da! That's our new car. I really, really like it and we got a killer deal on it. It's a Nissan Versa and we got pretty much every upgrade you would want in a car. So lets just pray that I won't get laid off work anytime soon!

After Daniel got home with the new ride, we went out to dinner with his parents. Then I wanted to show off the new car (of course!) so we went out to Brandy's and showed her and Cam. By this time it was getting late and I was worn out so we went home, I did some laundry while Daniel studied. All-in-all I would have to say that it was a pretty good day! So I went to the Twilight movie, I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I could stay up 'til 3am and go to work the next day at 8am. (Not to mention that my stomach DID NOT agree with all the JUNK food I ate at the movie) It just made me realize that I'm getting old! I am extremely happy that I went to a private showing...I don't think I could have handled the screaming 13 year old girls!!!

Welcome to the Coven

Twilight premiere is tonight at midnight and YES I will be there. Call me CRAZY but my father-in-law rented out the theatre. Now how could a girl turn that down? (even though it starts at midnight...and I have to be to work at 8am the next day!) All I have to say is that the movie BETTER be as good as the book! (who am I kidding??!!?)

So I figured I would start a blog...I have had the hardest time trying to figure this out! But I think I'm finally starting to get it! (Thanks Brandy and Trish!)

So Daniel FINALLY popped the question and we will be married on Aug. 16 2008. It's coming up really soon...snuck up on me to tell you the truth. I realized that I was just sitting around "hoping" that everything would fall into my lap and I wouldn't have to actually do any planning...boy was I WRONG! But everything is good now and all I have to worry about is Daniel saying the "I do"!!!

Just to catch everyone up on what I have been doing...

On July 12th 2008, my girlfriends had a bridal shower for me. Lots and lots of laughs and tons of fun! Thanks for everything!

Then on July 26 2008, Daniel's mom, Jane and his sister Becky had a bridal shower for me. It was so much fun being around his family and getting to know everyone! Thanks Ladys!
